Roblox Xbox One Text Chat

I disabled the games messaging app to be on the safe side but since roleplaying is a big part of rocitizens people will probably want to be able to chat however inconvenient it may be.

Roblox xbox one text chat. The cursor dissappearing is just a bug. There is no text chat in roblox on xbox one. Just updated my game to be on xbox. A player sent in this screenshot theyve always been able to chat on xbox in the past but suddenly theyre unable to do so.

Roblox is ushering in the next generation of entertainment. It was removed awhile back. Im sure you guys know that less people have been playing since making that dumb decision. I havent played many games but ive noticed that chat is disabled.

Roblox on xbox was never supposed to have text chat and it was removed from the few games that had it so they could keep their child rating on the xbox. So my question is are we allowed to have custom chat or written communication of any kind on xbox. Once you have entered your text into that bar hit enter on your keyboard to send it. Im receiving reports that players on xbox are no longer able to send text chat messages in games presumably because canuserchatasync is now always returning false for these users.

Xbox uses voice chat party chat. Account owners have the ability to limit or disable who can chat with them both in app or in game who can send them messages and who can follow them into games or invite them to private servers. Roblox is a global platform that brings people together through play. Theyre also not able to use other features which accept custom text input.

This will open up the chat window if enabled by the developer and a chat bar where you can type what you would like to say.
